A scout is thrifty! Participation in fundraising is important for scouts to learn the importance of paying their own way through their scouting experience. Funds raised through troop or pack sponsored fundraising opportunities can help pay for registration fees, monthly camping event costs, winter/summer camp, and high adventure trips.
Fundraiser Dates: October 12th - 31st
Funrdaiser Description: We will be managing the Ascension Pumpkin Patch for the second year in a row. Our pumpkin shipment will be arriving on October 12th at 9am. We will need all available scouts to help unload over 1,500 pumpkins and set them up on display before the official patch opening at 1pm that afternoon. If you can help with unloading and setup, please register for that activity through the troop or pack website.
The pumpkin patch will be hevily marketed throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas; however, we need your help. Let everyone you know about our pumpkin patch. The more people we bring to the pacth, the more sales we make. Handouts will be available and links to printable flyers and social media graphics are available as links below. Sales will continue through October 31st or until all pumpkins are sold.
Lastly, please consider signing up for one or more shifts to sell pumpkins. Proceeds will be distributed based on the number of hours you work at the patch. The signup genius link is below. Instructions on how to open and close the patch are linked and instructions on taking payments is available for adults manning the register. If you have any questions, contact your unit leader.

Funrdaiser Description: Remember our fallen U.S. Veterans. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom. It's the mission of Wreaths Across America. You can join us by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or partnering with us on National Wreaths Across America Day and every day.
We will be working with Wreaths Across America to sell sponsorships for wreaths to be placed at local national cemeteries. Their goal is that each veteran's grave receives a sponsorship so a wreath can be placed on each grave. In 2022 over 2.7 millions were placed on graves in 3,702 participating locations.
Our troop will supporting the JN Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Shady Oaks, 2665 N. Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne 32935 (There is a total of 85 veterans graves located here. As of 9/10 the cemetery needs 59 more wreaths). Additional wreaths will be placed at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims FL (There are 13,000 veterans graves. As of 9/10 the cemetery needs 7,963 more wreaths).
Our goal is 200 wreaths for the troop. in 2022, the troop sold 218 wreaths. If your scout would like to sell wreath sponsorships, please email Michelle Devoid, who is heading up this fundraiser for the troop. She will need your email address and phone number so she can set you up with your own WAA page. You will send your web page link out to family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. Folks can order right from your WAA page. This year wreath sponsorships are $17.Scouts will earn $5 for each wreath sponsorship sold through their page.

Funrdaiser Description: Popcorn sales is a great way to earn money for your scouting activities. Scouts sell popcorn through online sales, booth sales, as well as pre-sales. When adult volunteers are available during the popcorn season, booth sales may be approved by the committee.
If you would like to sell popcorn to family, friends, and neighbors, contact your unit leader for an invite from Trails End Popcorn to setup your online sales booth.

Funrdaiser Description: Camp cards are a set of coupons for local and national food and service vendors. Scouts sell camp cards and receive a percentage of the camp card sales. Scouts can sell camp cards door-to-door or at booth sales.
